MLS giants Atlanta United have reportedly submitted a bid for a midfielder as they try to bolster their midfield options ahead of the 2021 season. Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedois one of the most promising players on the South American football stage at the moment and Atlanta United are one of the clubs said to be in the running to sign him. Atlanta United recently appointed former Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze as their new manager. The new Atlanta United boss is said to be a fan of Moises Caicedo and he could add him to his team ahead of the 2021 season.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is on course to leave the club this summer and that could open up a slot to be filled. Pogba has over a year on his contract at Old Trafford and both parties have decided against a contract extension. Former club Juventus, PSG and Real Madrid have all been touted as possible destination for the Frenchman. Moises Caicedo is a potential replacement for Paul Pogba in the Manchester United midfield and he has played over 1500 minutes in 22 appearances for his club in Ecuador, netting four goals in the process.
