Several football stars are set to make up the list of a squad that would feature in the fan-chosen MLS All-Star team expected to go head-on in Chicago on August 2nd against Real Madrid.

The likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Tim Howard, Kaka, Sebastian Giovinco and David Villa are all to feature in the MLS Football team made up of stars.

Madrid is in top gear as they enter into preparations for the upcoming season. These preparations will see them go all out in matches against Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona in the International Champions Cup.

At the end of that, they would round off their U.S trip with a match against MLS All-Stars to be played at Soldier Field.

Supporters have been invited by Major league Soccer to take decisions on the first 10 players they believe should be included in the first 10 against the European champions.

The voting system only allows for fans to make a choice of one goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders and two forwards to be included in the first 10.

An update on the voting was recently released on Tuesday and it is expected to end on Friday.

NicklasBendtner might make move to MLS expansion side Atlanta United FC

There is news that former Arsenal player might make a move to Atlanta United FC.

The player who has been released by Wolfsburg is available on a free transfer and could be the first signing for the MLS expansion side who is supposed to start playing in 2017.

It is believed that Atlanta United FC technical director Carlos Bocanegra has already begun discussions with the former Arsenal player’s agent, but they have yet to make a formal offer to the player.

NicklasBendtner joined Wolfsburg in 2014 when Arsenal released him, but he has failed to make an impact for the German club. In fact, he was renowned for the off-field problems that he created at the club. Indeed, the player was banned from entering the training ground as he was reported for causing havoc in the dressing room.

During his time at Wolfsburg, he managed 47 appearances for the club and scored nine goals for them. He did not feature in the team for at least three months before he was released by the club.

Major League Soccer will spend more cash to bring top players

When it comes to expenditure, the Major League Soccer isn’t a league which is known for spending huge amounts of cash and luring in young world class player. Clubs from the MLS have a tendency of signing veteran players who are nearing the final stages of their career but it has now been announced that the American League has allocated more money as a way to bring in more top class players and possibly younger ones as well.

A few days ago it was confirmed that the MLS is investing an additional $32 million in salaries during the upcoming 2 years for players as a way that can help upgrade the quality in the teams of the league.

This investment is known as Targeted Allocation Money and the main objective of this cash is to create a deeper roster for the clubs in the MLS with the long term goal of turning the MLS into one of the top leagues in the world by 2022.
