English Premier League giants Manchester United are still considered to be a work in progress and they have proved that by the number of players they have continued to be linked with in the summer transfer window. United have fallen short in terms of status in the last couple of years and they now need to go through a serious shuffle if they want to be competing against the top teams in the English Premier League and across Europe as well.
Pereira was sent out on loan last season as he spent the entire campaign playing for Italian Serie A outfit Lazio. Having impressed in Italy, Pereire returned to United but he could be heading for the exit door after being told that he will not be getting a lot of chances under United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær. The Norwegian manager is under intense pressure to deliver a major title at the club and for him to do that, he will need to be working with top players.
Pereira has already revealed that he loved his time at Lazio and would love to return to the Italian club to continue his career there. However, he is also attracting interest from outside of Europe, and American Major League Soccer giants Atlanta have expressed interest in signing the United star this summer. He now has a choice to make regarding his future in the coming days.
