ATLANTA UNITED TARGET RANGERS STRIKER

Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos has allegedly emerged as a shock transfer target for MLS side Atalanta United. The MLS side have struggled for goals in the early part of the season. The Colombia international has been impressive since he joined Rangers. Despite numerous dismissals and disciplinary actions against him during his time at Ibrox, Morelos has been a huge hit and a fan favorite, he has scored 77 goals from 137 appearances in all competitions.

Rangers will love to keep the Colombia international in the long term, but the form of the player is attracting interest from top clubs across the world. There have been offers for the players from the Premier League. Liverpool and Everton have made enquiry about the player’s availability in the past. If Morelos continues to score the goals for Rangers, there is an inevitability about a future exit.

According to reports in Spain, Atletico Madrid are contemplating trying to tempt the Scottish giants into a sale later in 2020. They will make a move for the player at the end of the season.

The deal to sign the player from Glasgow will be a tough one for the Madrid based club. The 23-year-old has over three years left on his contract, and he is likely to cost in excess of £30 million.

Atlanta United head coach Frank De Boer has told the club to make a move for the Colombia international who has scored 29 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions this season. The MLS side will make a move for the player at the end of the season.

According to a report, Morales has disclosed to close friends that he will favour a move to the Premier league. But Atalanta United are keen on convincing the player to make the move to America.
